My biggest and most ambitious mixed media project, The Masks of Me, is a deeply personal collection of 35 handmade masks, each revealing an aspect of my personality, experiences, and background. Inspired by my involvement in the NFT community, I used art, crafts, photography, and writing to bring the masks to life.
Although I received a lot of positive reactions and compliments on the project, I’ve struggled selling the NFTs of the masks, whether because I am a small unknown artist, the project is not quite suitable for the NFT space, or both.
Despite that, I am absolutely determined to promote the masks further and explore other avenues, possibly digital art exhibitions. One of the small steps towards this has been creating a digital booklet with all the mask stories and the behind-the-scenes of the project.
